The Spanish soprano, Lore Agusti Carmendia, started her musical interest very early studying piano at the professional conservatory Amaniel in Madrid. She was also part of the children choir of Madrid. She graduated from Escuela de canto de Madrid with high distinctions, and with a Master of Arts in Specialiced Music Performance from Fachhochschule Northwestern Switzerland (Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel) (2012-2014).
Lore Agusti's soloist repertoire includes the role of Cleopatra in George Frideric Handel's Giulio Cesare, and the role of Alcina in G.F. Handel's Alcina. She has also a large repertoire of Purcell, Monteverdi... And she also did the role of Pamina in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Delibes' Lakmé. She is also a member of Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe; since July 2009) and Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart (Directors: Helmuth Rilling & Hans-Christoph Rademann).
Lore Agusti got the opportunity to perform at the FIS (Festival internacional de Santander), the Auditorio Nacional de España, the Teatro Mayor in Bogota, in the Tropical Baroque Festin of Miami, in Seattle, and the prestigious Lincoln Center in New york. She currently lives in Berlin, Germany. |
