The German lyric baritone, Mathias Banholzer, began his musical training first as a clarinettist and changed in 1992 to singing.
Since 1994 Mathias Banholzer studied singing with Professor Horst Laubenthal at the Musikhochschule in Würzburg.
In the operating phase Mathias Banholzer sang in January 1996 the solo part of Jiri Gemrots in Lauda Sion. In 1993 he had already sung the same role in the German premiere under the baton of Douglas Bostock in Konstanz. |
