Anna Borges (Soprano)

Born: April 22, 2003 - Denton, Texas, USA

The American soprano, Anna Elise Borges, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from TCU - Texas Christian University in Fort Worth under the tutelage of Professor Twyla Robinson (2021-2025). In August 2025, she began her studies for Master of Music degree in Historical Voice Performance at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music (expected graduation: 2027)..

Anna Borges was Choral Scholar at St. Patrick Cathedral in Fort Worth (September 2022-June 2025). Her previous roles with the TCU Opera Studio include First Spirit in W.A. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, ensemble in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Gingerbread Child/Chorus of Echoes in Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel, Barbarina in W.A. Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Dater #33 (UFO) in Michael Ching’s Speed Dating Tonight!, and Le Modiste/Friend of Elena in Nino Rota’s The Italian Straw Hat. This summer (2025), she had the opportunity to perform internationally at Music Fest Perugia in Italy. She currently lives in in Bloomington, Indiana.
