The German tenor, Samir Bouadjadja, began his musical career in the children‘s choir of the Theatre Vorpommern, where he gathered music experiences as a child singing operas such as W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and La Boheme. He received a broad music education at the Music High School in Demmin, including in saxophone and piano. The young tenor is currently (2016) studying singing with Piotr Bednarski in Dresden and receives important musical guidance from Britta Schwarz.
His special interest is baroque music; thus he is a member of the Dresdner Kammerchor (Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann), where he sings solos regularly. He is also participating in the recording of the
complete works of Heinrich Schütz under the baton of Hans-Christoph Rademann.
Since the 2012-2013 season, Samir Bouadjadja has been a guest performer at the State Theatres of Saxony, where he roles have included the First Sailor in Dido and Aeneas by Henry Purcell. |
