The Italian tenor, Federico Buttazoo, graduated in lyrical singing at the “G. Paisiello “of Taranto (2005-2010) and later perfected in the belcanto repertoire with D. Raffanti and B. De Simone.
Actually Federico Buttazoo performs in recitals and concerts on behalf of important bodies and theaters, such as Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Camerata Musicale Salentina, ICO City of Bari, Tiroler Festspiele Erl in Austria, National Theater of Sarajevo, Plovdiv State Theater in Bulgaria, Opera Royal de Wallonie in Belgium, “Grande” of Brescia, "G. Verdi" of Pisa, "Giglio" of Lucca, "Politeama Greco" of Lecce.
Federico Buttazoo's intense activity with several works includes W.A. Mozart's Coronation Mass and Requiem; G. Paisiello's Stabat Mater, C. Orff's Carmina Burana, G. Donizetti's Requiem, G. Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle, A. Ramirez's Navidad nuestra and Misa Criolla.
The roles most frequently played are Conte d’Almaviva in Rossini's Il barbiere di Siviglia, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola, Dormont in La scala di seta, Ernesto in Don Pasquale, Beppe in Pagliacci, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, under the direction of of C. Franklin, G. De Lorenzo, V. Clement, N. Paszkowski, D. Michieletto, M. Mirabella and A Pizzech, among others. He currently lives in Trepuzzi, Italy. |
