The German soprano, Susanne Duwe, studied at the Robert-Schumann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf singing in the class of Albrecht Klora as well as with Lia Montoya-Palmen in Köln.
After conclusion of her singing studies with the concert exam, Susanne Duwe was engaged in the 1999-2000 season as Christine in production of Phantom of the opera in Belgium. A year later she became member of the international Opernstudios of Flanders and participated in various opera productions, among them as as Susanna in Nozze di Figaro in the Brussels' Opera La Monnaie as well as Rosa in the opera la jolie parfumeuse by Jaques Offenbach.. She participated in master-classes with Brigitte Fassbaender, Thomas Quasthoff and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and was scholarship holder of the Bertelsmann-Stiftung "Neue Stimmen".
Susanne Duwe concentrates concerts in her homeland and gives Lieder recitals. Her repertoire spreads from the Baroque to contemporary music. |
