The Russian tenor, Alexey Egorov, began his way to the tenor began in the north of Russia, in Murmansk, and first led through Moscow. There he completed his piano studies at the Gnessin Music Academy and his first singing studies at the Ippolitov Ivanov Institute. He has been the winner of several international competitions such as Amber Nightingale Singing Competition in Russia, Concorso Riccardo Zandonai in Italy and 21st Century Art Competition in Ukraine, and in 2012 at the International Mastersingers Competition in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. As a further award, he received a scholarship from Ursula and Dr. Ing. Thilo Köpfler Foundation Wiesbaden.
After engagements at the Moscow Theater Na Basmannoy, where he was heard in operas by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, Donizetti and Weber, he made a great debut at the Moscow Estrada Theater in the role of journalist in Mikhail Gluz's opera Shulamit Forever. Concert engagements took him to Russia, Croatia and France.
At the Hochschule für Musik der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz he finally took the diploma course in singing. In July 2013, he received his "very good" graded certificate as a "graduate singer" and joined the concert exam (2014) in the singing class of Professor Claudia Eder. He was also admitted to the excellence program " Barock vokal " by the Hochschule and was able to sing Testo in Il Combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda by Claudio Monteverdi under the direction of Konrad Junghänel, as well as J.S. Bach's Cantatas, conducted by Andreas Scholl, and Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) conducted by Felix Koch.
As a member of the Young Ensemble at the Staatstheater Mainz, he appeared in the 2012-2013 season in Henze's opera Der Prinz von Homburg, directed by Christoph Nel and in Pallavicino's La Gerusalemme liberata, directed by Sandra Leupold, as well as in the 2013-2014 season in Ravel's opera L'Enfant et les Sortilèges. He also performed as a prince in Dvořák's opera Rusalka in the wooden foyer of the Oper Frankfurt. He performed the role of Don Ottavio in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni at the Moscow International House of Music and in 2013 at the Wernigeröder Schlossfestspielen.
He is always happy to pass on my experience gained through study and stage practice to others. In Moscow, he did this as assistant to my professional sir Vera Nebolskina and also gave private voice lessons. Since he is in the Rhine-Main area, he teaches different students in private lessons and look forward to many more creative singing lessons. |
