The Gemann tenor, Florian Feth, studied ay Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium Kaiserslautern. He began his singing studies as tenor in 2005 in Mainz. From 2010 he studied with Professor Thomas Heyer at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst (HFMDK) Frankfurt, where he received his diploma in summer 2012. Further studies have led him to Helmut Deutsch and Gerd Türk.
Florian Feth starred in a production of W.A. Mozart's Zaide at the New European Opera Festival. Further engagements took him to the Theater Koblenz and the Oper Frankfurt. In 2010, he sang the tenor part in a premiere of the composer Christian Stark conducted by Beat Furrer at the Bockenheimer Depot, Frankfurt. In January 2013, he sang in Vykintas Baltakas' Cantio at the Konzerthaus Berlin. In May 2014, hesang the " Himmelsstimme Tenor in de Cavalieri's Rappresentatione di Anima et di Corpo at the Staatsoper Berlin under the baton of René Jacobs.
The focus of Florian Feth's work is in concert singing, especially in the Baroque and Classical repertoire. He sings in ensembles like the Amsterdam Baroque Choir (Director: Ton Koopman), Cappella Amsterdam (Director: Daniel Reuss), Vocalconsort Berlin. RIAS-Kammerchor (Current Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann), and Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart (Directors: Helmuth Rilling & Hans-Christoph Rademann). He curremtly lives in Detmold, Germany. |
