The Italian soprano, Benedetta Gaggioli, has always been strongly motivated by her passion for music, but she soon began studying singing at the T Scuola di Musica T. Mabellini in Pistoia under the guidance of soprano Elena Bartolozzi. She graduated in singing in 2013 at the Conservatorio B. Maderna in Cesena.
Since 2006 Benedetta Gaggioli has participated as a soloist in numerous concerts with the Filarmonica G. Verdi di Quarrata and with the Filarmonica di Montevettolini. Since 2010 she has been part of the Coro Polifonico Terra Betinga di Agliana directed by Paolo Pacini, within which she acted as chorister, soprano soloist and teacher of vocal technique. Since 2011 she has been a member of the vocal ensemble La voce delle Muse, with which she participated in numerous concerts, some of which at Palazzo Pitti in Florence and some others for the l’Associazione Pro Musica of Florence. In 2011 and 2012 she participated in two master-classes held by Luca Casalin and a seminar held by Antonio Juvarra. Since 2013 she has been a member of Les Passions de l'Ame, a group of musicians with whom she performs Baroque music concerts in Tuscany and Liguria. Also in 2013 she played the role of Serpina in the staging of La serva padrona by Pergolesi in production of the Associazione Teatrale Pistoiese. In 2015 she was selected for participation in the master-class held in Turin by the soprano Mariella Devia. In 2016 she won the audition organized by the Associazione Teatrale Pistoiese and, subsequently, she participated in several master-classes of early and Baroque music with Federico Maria Sardelli and soprano Lia Serafini. In addition, she is a member of Autenticamente Autentica (since 2017) and Duo Ghirigoro (since 2018. Since December 2018 she also sings at Teatro del Maggio.
Furthermore, since 2012 her activity includes teaching vocal technique and directing two choirs of children's voices, obtaining regional recognition.
