The American mezzo-soprano, Rebecca Dorothy Galick, participated in March 2010 in the Boyertown Area Senior High School Music Department production of Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, playing the role of Maria. In August 2011, just graduated from high school, she participated in Berks Opera Workshop in Reading, Pennsylvania in W.A. Mozart comic opera The Abduction from the Seraglio, singing the role of Blonde. She obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (2011-2014). At Eastman, she was a member of the Eastman Chorale (Director: William Weinert) and participated in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series (BWV 131 & BWV 12, October 2013). She currently lives in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. |
