The Australian mezzo-soprano, Mollie Galvin, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree, LLB/BA (German and Linguistics) from the University of New England in Armidale, New South Wales (2015-2019); and her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in Anatomy and Histology, Pathology from the University of Sydney (2014-2017).
Mollie Galvin has been a freelance musician/private instructor in Sydney, New South Wales since November 2013. Since 2004, she has been an active member of the musical society in Armidale through a variety of disciplines, being choral, orchestral and theatrical based. Having studied in the disciplines of vocal training since the age of 8, violin, viola, cor anglais and oboe throughout school, she offers private music lessons to passionate individuals at various degrees of proficiency. She was Oboist in NSW Lawyer's Orchestra (September 2016-2017). She works as Sales Assistant at Gewürzhaus Spice House in Sydney since August 2019. She has been a member of Sydney Conservatorium of Music Noticeboard since April 2023. She is currently studying Historical Performance Practice, with over 15 years of professional experience singing in liturgical (high/low Anglican, Catholic) and non liturgical choirs, holding choral scholarships across Sydney, Armidale and the UK. |
