The Dutch mezzo-soprano, choral conductor and singing teacher, Lieke Geraats - van Oostenbrugge, completed her classical singing training at the ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Zwolle (Class of 2016) and completed an application course in choral conducting at the HKU Utrechts Conservatorium.
Lieke Geraats regularly performs as a soloist in various works and J.S. Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann cantatas. She also forms a Lieder duo with pianist Hanke Scheffer, with whom she regularly performs Lieder recitals. As an ensemble singer, she has appeared in professional choirs such as the Kamerkoor Ars Musica and Studium Chorale. She is the conductor of various choirs, including Jongerenkoor Driebergen (since September 2017) and EVA Vocaal Ensemble (since 2014). Since her conservatory studies, she has also worked independently as a singing teacher and ensemble coach. She currently lives in Weert, the Netherlands. |
