The Italian tenor, Raffaele Giordani, undertook a scientific degree in Chemistry from the University of Ferrara, cultivating his passion for music at the same time by studying at the Conservatorio "G.Frescobaldi" Ferrara In 1999 he won the Italian selection competition for the European Choir “Voices of Europe”.
Raffaele Giordani started his career as a performer in several important music festivals around Europe: Concerto Italiano (Director: Rinaldo Alessandrini), La Venexiana with Claudio Cavina, Malapunica with Pedro Memelsdorff. He played the role of Bastian in W.A. Mozart's Bastian und Bastienne at Rovigo, of a shepherd (joining Concerto Italiano) and Apollo (with La Venexiana) in Monteverdi's Orfeo. He currenly lives in Ferrara, Italy. |
