The American multi-instrumentalist and singer, Hailey Dawn Guerra, is currently in her 3rd year pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music (since August 2022; expected graduation: 2026). She primarily studies with Professor Eli Eban, but additionally works with Howard Klug and Gábor Varga in pedagogy and chamber music settings. She studied with multi-instrumentalist Wayne Leechford starting at the age of 13, continuing through high school.
Hailey Guerra is a multi-instrumentalist with a primary focus in clarinet. She finds excitement from playing in the pit for musical theater, and looks for any opportunity to double. Alongside playing, she has experience teaching both young woodwind and brass players. She performs on the following: Piccolo and Flute, Oboe and Bassoon, All Clarinets including auxiliary, All Saxophones; she also peforms occasionaly as a soprano singer. She is currently based in North Carolina. She finds herself playing repertoire ranging from wind band, theatre, classical, jazz, and modern.
Hailey Guerra has played many musicals such as The Drowsy Chaperone, Curtains, Reefer Madness, and Legally Blonde in the pit as a woodwind doubler. She can be seen playing a variety of instruments for new music premieres in the Jacobs School of Music, as well.
