The English mezzo-soprano, Eleanor Harries, studied at The Cherwell School in Oxford. She was a choral scholar at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where she studied Mathematics (2001-2004).
Eleanor Harries now sings for The Choir of the Chapels Royal, HM Tower of London, as well as ensembles such as Polyphony (Director: Stephen Layton), Philharmonia Voices and Cambridge Singers (Director: John Rutter) and Stile Antico. She studies with Alexander Massey, and sings regularly as a soloist; recent appearances include J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio (BWV 248) and Maurice Duruflé's Requiem. She currently lives in London, England. |
