The German mezzo-soprano, Anne Hartmann, began her musical training with Anne Buter and Claudia Popp. From 2003 she studied with Marga Schiml at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe. She also attended master-classes with Brigitte Fassbaender and Hilde Zadek.
In addition to active concert activities in Germany and abroad, Anne Hartmann devotes herself intensively to the early as well as the new music. She is co-founder of the soloist Baroque ensemble Voces Celestes, which can be heard at renowned festivals. In addition, she participated in several world premieres. Among other things, she sang the alto part in Thomas Gabriel's Adventskantate. She is also a member of Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart (Directors: Helmuth Rilling & Hans-Christoph Rademann).
For her role as Pallade in Carl Heinrich Graun's opera Il giudizio di Paride, Anne Hartmann won first prize in the Internationalen Gebrüder-Graun-Wettbewerb. |
