The German bass, Ingolf Horenburg Seidel, began his musical studies in the Dresdner Kapellknaben under the direction of KMD Konrad Wagner. His singing studies with Professor Heidi Petzold at the Hochschule für Musik “Carl Maria von Weber“ in Dresden, were supplemented by attending courses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Walter Berry and Olaf Bär. After graduate studies, he completed the solo exams "with distinction".
On the concert stage Ingolf Horenburg has sung with such conductors as René Jacobs, Sir Colin Davis, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Daniel Reuss, Marcus Creed, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Andreas Spering and Ludger Rémy.
Opera engagements have led Ingolf Horenburg to the Komische Oper Berlin, Goethe-Theater Bad Lachstädt and festivals such as the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, Händelfestspiele in Halle (Saale) and Göttingen, Festspielen in Bad Kissingen and Telemann Festtagen in Magdeburg.
