The Venezuelan xoprano, teacher and choral conductor, Samia Ibrahim, studied at the Music Conservatory Juan Manuel Olivares. From 1994 to 1999 she was a member of the Cantoría Alberto Grau, directed by Professor María Guinand. She studied singing with sopranos Manuela Velo, Margot Pares-Reyna, Sara Catarine and Lucy Ferrero. In 1999 she receives degree in Music Education at the IUDEM, where she also studied choral and orchestral conducting with the eachers María Guinand, Alfredo Rugeles and Rodolfo Saglimbeni.
Samia Ibrahim was the soprano soloist in the world premiere of La Pasión Según San Marcos by Osvaldo Golijov in Stuttgart, Germany in 2000, recorded live by Hänssler Classic label and nominated for Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards 2001.
Samia Ibrahim continues her development as a conductor with the teacher Gregory Carreño, belongs to the group of teachers of Programa CAF de Acción Social por la Música - Voces Latinas a Coro and director of the Niños Cantores del Núcleo Los
