The Japanese soprano, Shihomi Inoue-Heller studied music at high school. After the exams, she studied at the National University for Music Performing Arts with Professor Hiroko Kimura and finished with diploma. She had further studies at the Hochschule für Musik undo Darstellende Kunst in Vienna (with Professor Robert Schollum, Lieder and oratorio), as well as instruction with Arleen Augér. She was prize-winner at several international competitions (e.g. in Vienna, ´s Hertogenbosch etc.).
Shihomi Inoue-Heller has concert activity in her homeland and abroad. She has appeared at various festivals (Wiener Festwochen, Horizonte Berlin, Musikalischer Sommer in Wien) and at important halls (Philharmonie Berlin, Wiener Musikverein, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Vredenburg Utrecht, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Herkulessaal München, etc.). Numerous recordings for international broadcasting corporations, as well as for record and CD (with Helmuth Rilling, the RIAS-Orchester, among others). She lives in Augsburg and teaches music at the university. |
