Jennie Judd Reyes (Soprano)

Born: February 1, 1994 - Williamsport, Pennsylvania, USA

The American soprano and voice teacher, Jennie Judd Reyes, obtained her Performance Certificate in Musical Theatre from Sight & Sound Theatres Conservatory (2013); her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Wheaton College Conservatory of Music (2017); and her Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from University of Michigan (2019).

Jennie Judd Reyes is known for her vocal versatility and artistry, singing repertoire that spans from the Renaissance to the present as a soloist, chamber musician and stage performer. She has been Freelance Vocalist-Soprano since August 2019. After her studies, she performed with Songs by Heart Foundation in Wheaton, Illinois (October 2019-December 2020).

Jennie Judd Reyes’ stage credits include the roles of Blonde in W.A. Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail (October 2023), Mabel in Pirates of Penzance (October 2022) and Laurette in Doctor Miracle (September 2023) with Opera Grand Rapids (May 2022-March 2023). She was Frasquita in the Kalamazoo Philharmonia production of Georges Bizet's Carmen and performed as a soloist with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra and Illinois Valley Symphony. Her recent performances of early music have included appearances with the Holland Bach Society, Michigan (J.S. Bach's Cantata Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland BWV 61, November 2022), VoxGR (J.S. Bach's Herz under Mund und Tat und Leben BWV 147), Gaudete Choral Ensemble (Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's Stabat Mater) and Zeeland Civic Chorus (George Frideric Handel's Messiah). She greatly enjoys interdisciplinary collaborations and was recently seen as a narrator and soloist alongside Deos Contemporary Ballet in the company’s Ember Series 2024 in Grand Rapids.

Jennie Judd Reyes has been Self-employed at Private Voice Studio (since May 2019) and Adjunct Professor of Voice at Hope College Department of Music (since January 2023). She is also Operations Manager at Holland Community Chorale in Holland, Michigan ((since June 2022). She is married to Eric D. Reyes and currently lives Holland, Michigan.
