The American mezzo-soprano, Kathleen Elizabeth Kane (Kathie Kane), obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance - Vocal from State University of New York College at Potsdam (2013-2017), as a student in the studio of Lorraine Yaros Sullivan; and her Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Literature from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (2017-2019), studying with Katherine Ciesinski. During her music studies, she served as Cantor at St. Christopher Parish in Tonawanda, New York (November 2011-May 2019: Solo singing at Christmas services, weddings, and funerals). She was finalist at the 2020 International Collegiate Singing Championship.
Kathleen Kane currently studies for her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at University at Buffalo (since August 2020; expected graduation: May 2024). She works Controls Designer and Programmer / Sales and Project Manager at Black Rock Controls in Buffalo, New York (since May 2019). |
