The Finnish soprano, Anneliina Koksinen (Rif Tokzier), graduated with Master of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland in 1993. She was a member of the Ring Ensemble of Finland.
Anneliina Rif is the person behind Magistra, Turku Early Music Master Center. The emphasis in her career is on early music (eg. medieval, renaissance and baroque), and she has performed concerts throughout Europe and taught in several music institutes in Finland. Instruments she plays: Voice (soprano), recorders, kawla, symphonie, psaltery, bowed psaltery, bells, kantele, medieval harp, tenor rebec and loriman pipe. 2015 and 2017, she worked as a Castle Musician in the biggest medieval castles in Finland.
2019 and 2020 Duo Medieval (Uli Kontu-Korhonen & Anneliina Rif) is going to tour in Finland, Sweden and Central-Europe with support from the Finnish Cultural Foundation. The tour brings two amazing concerts and a lecture about western medieval music and its roots to every county where they visit. She currently lives in Turku, Finland. |
