The Canadian soprano, Hannah Lim, who grew up in a family of musicians where music was always a part of everyday-life. She studied at Westmount Collegiate Institute (2012-2016). In 2019, she made her debut at Carnegie Hall performing with the York University Choir. She joined the Ottawa Bach Choir (Director: Lisette Canton) in August 2021, has performed on the most recent album, J.S. Bach: Six Motets, and was part of the June 2022 tour to Bachfest Leipzig in Germany.
Hannah Lim's favourite performance was J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor BWV 232 for the Ottawa Bach Choir's 20th anniversary in November 2021. She recalls the experience thus: “This was a memorable performance because it was my first live audience concert after the pandemic. Everyone was so immersed in the music and all the musicians were amazing.” In addition to her vocal contributions, she serves as the General Manager for the Ottawa Bach Choir. She currently lives in Toronto, Ontario. |
