The Polish organist, harpsichordist and conductor, Klaudia, Łoboda, graduated with distinction from the Ludomir Różycki State Music School Complex in Kielce (since 2015). In 2015, she started to play the harpsichord and in 2017, she was awarded a 2nd Prize in the National Harpsichord Competition. During these years, she also played piano in the jazz trio led by pianist and composer Konstatin Vilensky. She graduated from the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music (2021-2024), Instrumental Department (Harpsichord Class of Prof. Dr. Hab. Marek Toporowski) and a student of the Faculty of Creativity, Interpretation, and Music Education (specializing in Music Theory). She developed her skills under the guidance of distinguished teachers and artists, including Aline Zylberajch, Martin Gester, Nicholas Parle, Ketil Haugsand, and Mitzi Meyerson. Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme in 2023-2024, she also studied in the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in the harpsichord class of Carole Cerasi. In The Hague, she also learnt basso continuo with Patrick Ayrton and chamber music with Richard Egarr. She is laureate of international and national harpsichord competitions, including the 7th Wanda Landowska Harpsichord Competition in Ruvo di Puglia (double 1st Prize in the duet, 2nd Prize in the solo category), the 2nd National Harpsichord Competition (2nd Prize), and semi-finalist in the Poznań competition "Wanda Landowska in memoriam" to the 1930s.
In her artistic work, Klaudia, Łoboda emphasizes chamber music, but also does not shy away from solo repertoire. She is a co-founder of Baroque.Collective (since April 2021), a young ensemble specializing in early music performance. She is harpsichordist in Fantastica Ensemble (since June 2022) and Capella Cracoviensis (since December 2024). She made her debut as a soloist with the Lviv Virtuosos, performing J.S. Bach's Concerto for harpsichord, strings & continuo No. 5 in F minor, BWV 1056. As a laureate of the Performance Competition organized by the Kielce Complex of State Music Schools, she also had the opportunity to collaborate with the Świętokrzyskie Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maciej Żółtowski, performing HM Górecki's Concerto for Harpsichord. She has also performed in numerous European countries, including the UK, Lithuania, Finland, and the Czech Republic.
Klaudia, Łoboda also thrives as an organizer of cultural events, successfully co-organizing the first Mid European Early Music Festival in Kielce (September 2020-September 2022), as well as the festival's solo and chamber workshops. She currently lives in Kraków, Poland. |
