The Russian soprano, Yana Mamonova (Яна Мамонова), graduated from the conducting and choral department of the Novosibirsk Music College named after A. Murov. She then graduated with honors from the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after M. Glinka with a degree in Vocal Art / Academic Singing in the class of Honored Artist of Russia R.I. Zhukova (Class of 2006), as well as postgraduate studies in the specialty Chamber singing (Professor. E.V. Baranova). She continued her studies at the Academy of Music in Basel (Switzerland) Schola Cantorum Basiliensis (2010-2012), where she sang in Madrigal Ensemble under the direction of the famous lutenist and researcher of Renaissance and Baroque music Anthony Rooley. She also attended master-classes with Emma Kirkby, Evelyn Tubb, Christoph Prégardien, Ira Siff in Europe. She is a laureate of international and all-Russian competitions
Over the years, Yana Mamonova has collaborated with the ensembles Markell’s Voices, Insula Magica (2002-2009), Musica Aeterna Bratislava (Director: Peter Zajíček), Ensemble Musica Poetica (Netherlands), Bach Choir & Orchestra of the Netherlands (since 2012). She has peformed as a soloist with the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (2006-2010); and Novosibirsk State Philharmonic (2021-2024). She is also Associate Professor of the Novosibirsk State Conservatory named after. M.I. Glinka (since 2018). |
