The Frebnch composer, music teacher, music director and bass singer, Vincent Manac'h, studied at the Université Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV), at Université François Rabelais de Tours, and at Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Paris (CNSMDP).
Mainly arrested by the voice and countless sound variations, Vincent Manac'h has composed works for choir a cappella (Orpheus, La Vita Nova) as well as for voice and instrumental ensembles (Noctifer for two choirs and ensemble, Babel for 12 voices, choir and ensemble). In 2007, he turned to musical theater with incidental music for Sophocles' Electra, then with Lalala, opera songs, conducted by Geoffroy Jourdain and staged by Benjamin Lazar, and in 2012 Ma Mère Musicienne, composed for the soprano Claire Lefilliâtre.
Vincent Manac'h has also several crucial collaborations, including with Laurence Equilbey, Geoffroy Jourdain and Le Jeune Chœur de Paris (Cammin, Die Brücken), Raphaël Pichon and Ensemble Pygmalion (Wolkengesang), choreographer Sylvain Groud, Ensemble Zellig (Sinfonien ) and pianist Brigitte Engerer (Camera Obscura), Aurélien Richard and Vanessa Wagner.
Anxious to enrich these experiences through the prism transmission, Vincent Manac'h initially taught in college and at the CRR de Paris, then at the Université Populaire de Bondy and the musicology department of the Université Paris 8.
In paralelel to his activity as composer and teach, Vincent Manac'h is is dedicated to a performer activity with the chamber Les Cris de Paris and other ensembles, including Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon). He currently lives in Paris, France.
