The German tenor, Martin B. Müller, first studied piano and school music at the Musikhochschule in Detmold as well as German at the University of Paderborn. Subsequently he began the study of singing also at Detmold - with Heiner Eckels, concluding in 1996 with the Artist's Diploma for Opera and Concert singing. While yet a student he took an active part in master-classes with James Wagner, Kurt Widmer and Thomas Dewald among others. He is a scholarship recipient of the Richard-Wagner-Verband and winner of the City of Paderborn international Prize for the Advancement of Culture (1997).
Guest engagements have brought Martin B. Müller to the Bodensee Festival in 1996, to the State Theater in Detmold and to the Theater of Freiburg. In the realm of oratorio music he has performed in Denmark, France, Hungary and Japan. |
