The German soprano, Cecilia Mutsaerts, reveived her musical training at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf. She studied solo singing with he great Canadian soprano Edith Wiens. She attended master-classes with Richard Miller, Mia Besselinck and Brigitte Fassbaender and particpated in productions of the Opernstudio der Deutschen Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. During the festival, Sieben Tage Oper in Düsseldorf she sang a leading role in the modern opera Josef Süsskind Oppenheimer by Oskar Gottlieb Blarr.
In January 2001 Cecilia Mutsaerts won an episode of the television programme Una voce particolare in the Netherlands. This was followed by numerous television appearances. (documentataries such as the live broadcast of the opening of the Giro italia in Groningen in 2002, Una voce liberal in 2002, as artist during the TROS TV SHOW in December 2005).
From January to April 2002 Cecilia Mutsaerts sang as soloist in the successful tour "Ernst Daniel Smid in concert". Since 2001 she sings operas and concerts as a soloist in Germany (eg Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Stadthalle Augsburg), Netherlands and Italy (Milan, Como). The highlight of 2005 was certainly her appearance during the marriage cecebrations of Prince and Princess Aimee Floris in Naarden.
Cecilia Mutsaerts appears with tape accompaniment of piano, orchestra (brass orchestra or symphony orchestra) and choir. She also appears in duo with Ernst Daniel Smid. |
