The American light lyric tenor and music educator, Anders Namestnik, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Music Education from The Eastman School of Music, University of Rocheter (2014-2018); and his Master of Music degree degree in Vocal Performance from Florida State University (2020-2022).
Anders Namestnik has performed with Eastman Opera Theatre, The Finger Lakes Opera Young Artist Program, and Geneva Light Opera in New York. He has performed Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe, covered Don Ottavio in W.A. Mozart’s Don Giovanni, performed Jack in John Davies’ adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk, Gérard in Les enfants terribles by Phillip Glass and was a finalist in the Eastman Kneisel Competition. He was also a soloist in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series (BWV 61 & BWV 62, November 2017).
Outside of performing, Anders Namestnik is a passionate voice teacher and educator. Having majored in general music education, Anders has worked as an adjunct voice instructor at Finger Lakes Community College (September 2019-2020) as well as a Theory in Motion instructor at The Eastman Community Music School. |
