The Chilean bass-baritone, Camilo Rodolfo Olguín Medina, studied in Chile with the haute-countre Rodrigo del Pozo and holds a Master's degree from the Kunstuniversität Graz, Austria. He has participated in master-classes with Luca Pisaroni, Javier Camarena, William Lewis, Eva Mei, Alfonso Antoniozzi, Julius Drake, David Brock, and Marcel Boone.
He has performed roles such as Figaro in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro, Don Alfonso and Guglielmo in W.A. Mozart's Così fan tutte, Masetto in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni, Simone in Gianni Schicchi, Caronte in L’Orfeo, and the roles of Marchese and Barone in La Traviata, among others. His concert repertoire includes extensive works by J.S. Bach, L.v. Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, Bruckner, Charpentier, Dvořák, Haydn, George Frideric Handel, W.A. Mozart's, Schubert, and others. |
