The Italian tenor, Cosimo Panozzo, studied Economics with maximum graduation at the Università degli Studi di Verona (2000-2005). He studied piano at the Conservatorio "F.Dall’Abaco" in Verona (1993-2001); and obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Opera Singing with maximum degree from the Conservatorio di Musica "Lucio Campiani" di Mantova (1999-2004). He was trained vocally with Ivo Vinco, Raul Gimenez and Luciano Pavarotti. He is Winner of the "Lieder Prize" at the competition "Golden Palm“ (2003); and won First Prize at the international opera singers competition "Toti dal Monte".
From 2005 to 2015, Cosimo Panozzo sang in opera the roles of Nemorino in Donizett's L’elisir d’amore; Tamino in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte; Don Ottavio in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni; Antonio in G. Rossini's Gazza Ladra; Valerio in Spontini's Li Puntigli delle donne; Count Almaviva G. Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia; Selimo /Erisso in G. Rossini's Maometto II; Doge and Jago in G. Rossini's Otello; Marquis Ernesto in J. Haydn's La vera costanza; Liscione in D. Scarlatti's La dirindina; Fenton in G. Verdi's Falstaff. He has sung in concerts in the theatre and concert halls of Vienna, Tokyo, Verona, Geneve, Venice, Rome, Salzburg, Madrid, Florence. He also sang the leading role as tenor in the project "Mozart in Jazz". He currently lives in Vienna, Austria. |
