The American tenor, William Pederson, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota where he studied with Clifton Ware, Glenda Maurice and Wendy Zaro-Mullins (2001-2005).
William Pederson was Section Leader at St John the Evangelist Episcopal Church (September 2003-August 2006. He has been a member of the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers since 2009 and contracted singer in the Minnesota Chorale since 2003. Along with being cantor/section leader at the Church of St. Louis King of France, in Saint Paul, he has sung with the Bach Society of Minnesota, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Chorale, Consortium Carissimi, and Ensemble Polaris. An avid J.S. Bach performer, he has performed numerous cantatas throughout the Midwest, and been featured as the Evangelist in J.S. Bach's St John Passion (BWV 245), on numerous occasions. He has also participated as a soloist in Bach Tage Mount Olive Lutheran Church (Director: Kathy Saltzman Romey).
In addition, William Pederson works as Circulation Desk Supervisor & Reserve Coordinator for the Music Library at the University of Minnesota (since May 2003). |
