The Italian soprano, Sonia Peruzzo, graduated with honors from the Conservatory C. Pollini Padova in 1995 and was the winner of various competitions: "Premio Giovani nell'arte", scholarship at the "Giuseppe Di Stefano" competition and at the "Mecenati" of Rovigo; winner at the "Syntotium" for the role of Queen of the Night.
Sonia Peruzzo made her debut in the role of Adina in Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro Comunale di Adria and Comunale di Lonigo conducted by Maestro Fabbri. In the Circuito Lirico Veneto she has interpreted the roles of Rosina in Barber of Seville, Norina in Don Pasquale, Musetta in La Boheme, roles then often taken (Bassano Opera Festival, Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno, Mantova, Pergine, Comunale di Adria Festival … )
Sonia Peruzzo has participated as a protagonist eighth annual International Chamber Music Festival St. Peterburg Palaces (Russia) playing the role of Serpina in Serva Padrona by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and performing in numerous concerts. In 2001 she played the role of Gilda in Rigoletto by G. Verdi, Amina in the opera the Sonnambula in Mantova and in Carmina Burana by Carl Orff at the Teatro Verdi of Padova getting broad support from the public and critics. In a tour of Japan she held a series of concerts in Tokyo and Osaka. At Bassano Festival has supported the role of Musetta in La Boheme conducted by by G. Soliman, production resumed at the Teatro Ventidio Basso of Ascoli Piceno with the Management of Maestro Marcello Rota.
In July 2003, Sonia Peruzzo attended the Rossini Academy in Pesaro held by Maestro Alberto Zedda debuting later in the work Viaggio a Reims by Rossini in Madama Cortese garments to Palafestival of Pesaro. The Theatre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has debuted the role of Rosalie in Equivoco Stravagante by Rossini, conducted by Maestro Alberto Zedda and directed by Emilio Sagi.
In W.A. Mozart repertoire debuted the role of Despina in Cosi fan tutte and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. She was the soprano soloist in Carmina Burana by Orff at the Teatro Bellini in Catania (conductor Gianluca Martinenghi), at the Teatro Comunale di Modena and the Teatro Verdi in Padova; in Rita by Donizetti in Mantova and during the summer Fiesolana has played the role of Frasquita in Georges Bizet's Carmen, conducted by Elio Boncompagni then taken by Marco Balderi. She performed Stabat Mater by Boccherini with the Veneto Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Giampaolo Maria Bisanti; Oscar in Un Ballo in Maschera at the Teatro Bellini in Catania, conducted by Maestro Ranzani and at the Teatro Carlo Felice of Genova conducted Maestro Nicola Luisotti; the role of Gretel in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel & Gretel in their original language at the Teatro Bellini in Catania, conducted by Fabrizio Maria Carminati.
In the concert repertoire Sonia Peruzzo performed: The Passion of the Christ by A. Salieri, Laudate Pueri by Antonio Vivaldi RV601, salmo 112 for soprano and orchestra to the Pietà in Venice director Maestro P. Perini, Jesus into Limbo and Te Deum by A. Salieri output on CD, Requiem by W.A. Mozart director Maestro Fabbbri and recently director M. Lanaro, Jephte and Helcana Oratorio by Galuppi, coming soon on CD with the Malipiero concert Rovigo director Mastro F. Piva. Directed by Maestroo Soliman she has performed Stabat Mater by G.B. Pergolesi with the chamber orchestra Serenade. the mottetto Exultate Jubilate by W.A. Mozart with the Malipiero concert Rovigo directed by Maestro A. Ferrari in Treviso and Rovigo.
Sonia Peruzzo interpreted Nedda in the opera Pagliacci and signed José Cura La Commedia e ‘Finita, in the show Puccini e la Luna represented in Bari for the centenary of the composer, the Sun Festival Cortona and in December attended the opening night of the Vicenza Teatro Comunale presented by Milly Carlucci. She was Gilda in Don Gregorio by Donizetti at the Teatro Bellini in Catania director R. Recchia - director F.M. Carminati, and Euridice in the opera Orfeo ed Euridice by Gluck, directed by F. Esposito and the direction of A. Sisillo. Duma, Clorinda in Cenerentola and Despina of Così fan Tutte by W.A. Mozart in Mantova (director Anselmi), Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor in Treviso, Norina in Don Pasquale at the Ville Venete in August in the role of Ninetta in W.A. Mozart's La finta semplice conductor Massimiliano Caldi at the Mozart Festival in Gdansk. She resumed the role of Serpina in Serva Padrona by G.B. Pergolesi and Gilda in Rigoletto by G. Verdi (director Boeretto). At the Summer Festival of Cervinara (Napoli) she was Violetta in La Traviata by Giuseppe Verdi (director D. Dellisanti orchestra San Carlo of Naples). At the opening of the Western China International Fair in Chengdu she was invited to sing in the show Incantevole Italia in the presence of the highest Italian and Chinese authorities with the orchestra of the Carlo Felice theater in Genoa, dancer of Teatro alla Scala di Milano directed by Stefano Mazzoleni. |
