The German soprano, Bianca Reim, studied piano, singing, school music and French at the Universität der Künste und der Humboldt-Universität in Berlin as well as at the Conservatoire de Genève. She intensified her vocal training in master-classes with Ingrid Figur, Susanne Rydén, Peter Kooij and Barbara Bonney.
Bianca Reim regularly performs as a soloist throughout Germany. Her repertoire ranges from early baroque lute songs to the parts of the great oratorios and contemporary compositions. Together with Wolfram Teßmer and the lutenist Olaf Neun, she founded the ensemble Vox Coelestis and is also a member of the Amalien-Ensemble, which was formed within the Rundfunkchor Berlin.
Bianca Reim has been a permanent member of the Rundfunkchor Berlin since 2005 and is also entrusted with solo roles in these concerts, most recently the role of the Shepherd in Wagner’s Tannhäuser under the direction of Marek Janowski. |
