The Portuguese tenor, Jorge Rodrigues, began his musical studies in the Violin class at the Conservatório de Macau, and entered the Instituto Gregoriano in Lisbon, as a student of the Piano course in the class of Eurico Rosado, where he completed the course in Gregorian Chant. He studied singing with Elsa Cortez and, under the direction of Armando Possante, worked on choral repertoire works from the Renaissance to contemporary music. He collaborated with several vocal groups, among which Grupo Vocal Olisipo and Ars Lusitana stand out. He is currently a member of the Coro Gregoriano de Lisboa. He holds a degree in chemical engineering sciences and a master's degree in chemical engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. |
