The Italian bass, Abramo Rosalen, began studying singing after graduation in organ. He was finalist and winner of national and international competitions.
Abramo Rosalen made his debut for the Venice Biennale in 2002 with the contemporary opera Big Bang Circus by Claudio Ambrosini at the Lirico in Trieste and the San Carlo in Naples. He sang Gaudenzio in Il Signor Bruschino by Rossini, and Tobia Mill La cambiale di matrimonio at the Festival Galuppi in Venice; at the Teatro La Fenice he has performed in Il principe porcaro by Nino Rota, L’Angelo e L’ura by Carlo de Pirro and Frere Laurent in Romeo et Juliett by Charles Gounod. In the opera houses of Tuscany and Triveneto he sang Ramfis in Aida ny Verdi, Oroe in Semiramide by Rossibi, Leporello and the Commendatore in Don Giovanni by W.A. Mozart, Polyphemus in Acis and Galatea by George Frideric Handel, Il tabarro by Puccini, Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro by W.A. Mozart. At Rendano in Cosenza he sang Sarastro in Die Zauberflöte by W.A. Mozart and Don Magnifico in La Cenerentola by Rossini. In Milan, Lecco and Faenza he sang Zechariah in Nabucco by Verdi; at Olimpico in Vicenza Basilio in Barbiere di Siviglia by Rossini. |
