The Canadian tenor, Arieh Max Sacke, obtained his Bachelor of Music in Performance, Classical Voice Studies from the University of Toronto (September 2016-June 2020); and his Master of Music degree in Classical Voice Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (August 2020-April 2022).
Arieh Max Sacke is active as a freelance Classical tenor since September 2016. He is establishing himself as a versatile performer of opera, oratorio, concert, and choral repertoire. He recently performed the role of Alexis in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Sorcerer (MADS) and was previously a Festival Artist at Opera Saratoga (May-July 2022), where he performed the role of Elder Three in Lembit Beecher’s Sky on Swings and covered Pirelli in Sweeney Todd.
Passionate about new music, Arieh Max Sacke has premiered two operatic roles and was recently the tenor soloist at Roy Thomson Hall in Amina Claudine Myers’s Improvisational Suite. His performances of oratorio throughout Southern Ontario include the title role of Moses in R. Nathaniel Dett’s The Ordering of Moses with the eponymous Nathaniel Dett Chorale (September 2022-August 2023). Since September 2023, he is McPhee Artist at Calgary Opera. He currently lives in Calgary, Alberta. |
