The Latvian mezzo-soprano, Silvija Emīlija Sūna, studied at Riga Cathedral Choir School (High School Diploma, Academic Music - Vocal studies; Choral conducting: 2007-2020); Early Music Vocal Performance Under the guidance of Professor Aira Rūrāne at Jāzepa Vītola Latvijas Mūzikas Akadēmija (October 2020-June 2021); and obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Early Music Singing at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag - Royal Conservatoire The Hague, under the guidance of professors Rita Dams and Ilse Eerens (2021-2025). She continues her studies there for Master's degree in Vocal Studies with Vocal teachers Rita Dams and Nikki Treurniet (August 2025-August 2027). She also attended Andrew Watts' Master-class in Coloratura singing (2023); received Private Vocal Coaching with Emily Martin in the USA (2023-2024); and attended Early Music Summer Academy Graz, where she studied Early Music Vocal Singing (2024; Vocal Coaches: Emma Kirkby, Tanya Vogrin).

(August 2010-August 2016); Youth Choir "Kamer" (August 2016-September 2019); Rīgas Doma kora Skolas Jauktais Koris / Mixed Choir of RCCS (September 2016-2020); Riga Chamber Choir Ave Sol (February-August 2021); and Cappella Amsterdam (since May 2023; Director: Daniel Reuss). She currently lives in The Hague, the Netherlands. |
