The University at Buffalo Choir (= UB Choir) is the premier choral ensemble on campus. Open to students of all majors by audition, the UB Choir presents two concerts annually in Lippes Concert Hall. The ensemble's repertoire spans from the 16th century to the present, and in the past has included works commissioned specifically for the Choir. Recent tours have included Canada and Europe, and during the spring of 2004, the choir participated in a performance of the Verdi Requiem at Carnegie Hall.
The UB Choir is directed by Harold Rosenbaum. Professor Rosenbaum brings extensive experience and dedication to his role as director of the UB Choir. In addition to being on the faculty at UB he also maintains a busy schedule as a choral conductor both in New York City and abroad. |
