The Dutch soprano, Johanneke Vogel, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Singing from the
Koninklijk Conservatorium te Den Haag in May 2009. Her teachers were Lenie van den Heuvel and Maria Acda. Currently she is coached by Charlotte Margiono.
Johanneke Vogel has been active as soprano singer and voice teacher since January 2010. She can be heard as a soprano soloist in, among others, Johannes-Passion
BWV 245 and Weihnachts-Oratorium BWV 248 by
J.S. Bach, Requiem by
W.A. Mozart, Requiem by
Gabriel Fauré, Rejoice in the Lamb by
Benjamin Britten, Love Unknown by M. Archer (Dutch premiere), Hör' mein Bitten by
Felix Mendelssohn, Ein Deutsches Requiem by
Johannes Brahms and Vigilia by E. Rautuavaara (conducted by Rob Vermeulen). In June 2012, she played the role of a Spanish Princess in the operetta Les Brigands by J. Offenbach. She also played roles in Puccini's opera Suor Angelica.
In addition, Johanneke Vogel regularly performs with song and chamber music in various formations, sometimes supplemented with theatre. With Heleen Vegter (piano) she forms the duo Vogel&Vegter. In Bennekom she organizes an annual garden concert. |
