The German soprano And Singing Teacher, Astrid Werner, studied the subjects Singing, Singing Pedagogy and Historical Singing at Hochschule für Musik in Dresden and Hochschule für Musik in Leipzig.
Astrid Werner was engaged at the Musiktheater Görlitz and guested at the Städtischen Oper Chemnitz, “Mittelsächsischen Theater und Philharmonie Freiberg, Sächsischen Landesbühnen Radebeul, Kleist Theater Frankfurt/Oder and Music Musiktheater in Heidelberg. She lives in Leipzig and devotes herself increasingly to concerts and singing pedagogy
Since 2005, Astrid Werner is a lecturer for singing at the Hochschule für katholische Kirchenmusik und Musikpädagogik in Regensburg and since the summer semester of 2010 at the Evangelischen Hochschule Moritzburg. In 2006, she directed a singing course for "Deutsches Lied" ot Arts Institute in (Nanjing (南京) in China.
Astrid Werner has sung at major festivals such as the Fest Alter Musik im Erzgebirge, Oude Musick Festival in Utrecht in the Netherlands, Schlesischen Musikfest in Görlitz, Mitteldeutschen Heinrich Schütz Tagen in Dresden, Bachtage Potsdam, Festival Alter Musik Bernau, Bachfest Leipzig, Festival International de Musica in Zamora in Spain and Festkonzert zum Bachgeburtstag in Bachhaus Eisenach. Concert tours with the Lautten Compagney Berlin under Wolfgang Katschner have led her to Switzerland, Spain and Portugal. In 2009 she sang in the solo quartet during the concert broadcast on Euro-Radio-Weihnachtstag with Lautten Compagney Berlin in Nürnberg. |
