The American bass and music teacher, Josiah Wheeler, obtained his Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music Education from Ouachita Baptist University (2007-2012); and his Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Arkansas at Little Rock (2012-2014). He also studied at Applied Instructional Design Academy (November 2022-August 2023).
Josiah Wheeler has been Music Director at Military Road Baptist Churc in Jacksonville, Arkansas (June-July 2011); Teacher at Little Rock School District (August 2012-June 2016); Communications Officer at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas (August 2016-September 2017); Director of Operations at Early Childhood Education Program at Trinity Cathedral (September 2017-July 2019); Music Teacher at Western Hills Elementary School LRSD (August 2019-December 2024); Assistant Professor at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine (since December 2024). He is a member of Trinity Cathedral Choir, Little Rock (Director: Colin MacKnight) and Trinitas Ensemble (Director: Colin MacKnight) and also performs as a soloist. He married Timothy Kessler on July 23, 2016 and currently lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. |
