Super Cool Bronze Medallions ....
ONE features the side view of W.A. MOZART, 1756-1791. the other shows the frontal bust of JOH. SEB. BACH, 1685-1750.
The BACH medallion does also have other markings, just below the date in tiny letters is "A. HARTIG" which i am sure is the artist of this bust. On the edge/rim of the BACH medallion it is also marked "MADE IN AUSTRIA, MUNZAMT, WIEN". In great used condition, nice orig patina, the Mozart one does have 1/4" area to the left of the head that looks scuffed. The Bach piece has some rubbing on the right eyebrow, and top of head. both are less then 1/4". |
