BWV 1121 |

I was looking for BWV 1121 Fantasia in C-minor for organ and got to BCW site which describes an original organ tablature of this work with a sample of the the music score transcription. I haven't been able to find a website or vendor for the full music score of that work for organ. It seems to be rare and not very known, yet beautiful.
Could anybody give me the info about how to get it or has the score?
Thanking you in advance. |

[T Christiane & Wilfried] Thomas Braatz provided a document to the BCW describing the source, printed editions and some history of the Fantasia in C minor BWV 1121 (formerly: BWV Anh. 205).

Fantasia in C minor, BWV 1121
Following a question on the BCML, Thomas Braatz provided a document to the BCW describing the source, printed editions and some history of the Fantasia in C minor BWV 1121 (formerly: BWV Anh. 205).

BWV 1121 & other new organ works
[To Aryeh Oron] Thanks very much to both Aryeh and Thomas! I have been wondering about this piece myself.
Incidentally, since BWV 1121 (and 1128 for that matter) are not included in many complete recordings of Bach's organ works, everyone may be interested to know that there are free recordings of these works as well as pretty much all other Bach organ pieces available from James Kibbie and the University of Michigan.

Along the same lines, Kibbie recorded quite a few other "non-canonical" organ works that I don't know much about such as BWV Anh. 42, 49, 50, 58, 75, 78, and 200 (the Orgelbuchlein fragment).

Does anyone have information on why the selections from Anh. 42-78 were placed in the BWV appendix but now are thought to be authentic? (The Oxford Composer Companion gives a slightly different list of authentic pieces: Anh. 49, 50, 58, 75, 76, and 200).
There seems to be more information online about the "Rudorff Chorales" (Emans 19 to 101) now than I remember finding previously:

Hopefully, these will be given BWV numbers at some point (they were apparently rediscovered in 1985).
I am hoping to find citable sources on these additional pieces so that I can add some info to Wikipedia.
Thanks! |
