The German soprano, Claudia Ehmann, studied after graduating from High School, School Music (major in Flute/Ruth Wentorf and Singing/Gabriele Kniesel) and German Philology in Freiburg im Breisgau. During her studies, she already sang in different vocal ensembles and was member of the Kammerchor Stuttgart under Frieder Bernius. After her first State Examination, she concentrated in Voice and started singing professionally.
Claudia Ehmann now performs as a soprano Soloist and is a much sought-after Singer in well-known Ensembles like the RIAS-Kammerchor Berlin, SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart, Vocalconsort Berlin and Munich Chamber Choir.
Her passion lies in the Baroque Music. She is co-founder of Chapelle de la Vigne, an ensemble for early music, composed of young musicians from Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy who dedicate themselves performing the numerous Cantatas and Oratorios of J.S. Bach. They regularly give concerts in the southern part of Germany. |
