The Dutch soprano, Christien van 't Hof, studied singing in Amsterdam with Charles van Tassel and later with Hieke Meppelink. She also took interpretation class lessons with Peter Kooy.
Christien van 't Hof sang some time at the Nederlandse Bachvereniging and Cappella Amsterdam, nowadays in Bachkoor Holland. She has worked with conductors such as Jos van Veldhoven, Charles de Wolff, Paul McCreesh, Iván Fischer, Sigiswald Kuijken, Roy Goodman and participated in several CD recordings including J.S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion (BWV 244) and the Mass in B minor (BWV 232). She often performs as a soloist with choirs and ensembles.
With Pieter de Goede, Christien van 't Hof founded in 2005 the vocal quartet La Cappellaccia. |
