The German choral conductor, Heinz Anton Höhnen, studied church music and music education at the Musikhochschule in Cologne as well as music, philosophy and German literature at the universities of Bonn and Cologne.
Heinz Anton Höhnen was since 1962 artistic director of the Bach-Chores Koblenz (formerly Madrigalchor). Since 1976 he has also directed the Kammerchor Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
Since 1971, Heinz Anton Höhnen was Professor of Music at the University of Koblenz-Landau. He was artistic associate with Europe Cantat, where he worked as a studio manager at festivals in Bruges, Lucerne and Namur, and has acquired an international reputation. |
