The Korean conductor, Hyo-Jong Jang (장효종), studied conducting church music at the Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Korea, where he encountered and studied various church music. He graduated from the Presbyterian Theological Seminary with a major in conducting, establishing not only music but also his religious values. He moved to the USA to study orchestra conducting at the Long Island Conservatory of Music, where he is regarded as a conductor who can handle both orchestra and choir at the same time.
Hyo-Jong Jang currently serves at Manna Presbyterian Church in New York City, and is in charge of conducting the organization as a representative of the Christian Society. |
