The German flautist, Christiane Meininger, studied at Gymnasium Kusel. She studied the flute at Hochschule für Musik Köln, Abteilung Aachen.
Christiane Meininger founded several chamber music ensembles, including the Meininger-Trio (flute, violoncello, piano) and Baroque and Blue (flute, piano, double-bass, drums). Here she inspires the work with colleagues, the joint implementation of ideas and interpretations. "Kammermusikalische Juwelen" (Chamber music jewels) are created in this way, according to the journal The Listener. But not only the contemporary music is important to her, but also tango (she is an enthusiastic tango dancer herself) and jazz. The numerous CD recordings were made in co-production with WDR, DRadio, BR and MDR. In the intensive work as an ensemble member, Christiane Meininger's sense of chamber music matured. She supports and advises ensembles and leads them to deserved stage success. The musicians benefit from her good network of musicians, conductors and leading German concert organizers. She currently lives in Bergisch Gladbach. |
