The Italian soprano, Andrea Oberparleiter, made her first musical experiences in her South Tyrolean homeland. She studied vocal pedagogy at the Salzburger Mozarteum with Karlheinz Hanser and Lied/Oratorio with Sébastien Soules at the Conservatory of Innsbruck. She graduated with full marks in 2011.
As a soprano, Andrea Oberparleiter is active in renowned radio choirs and professional vocal ensembles throughout Europe: RIAS-Kammerchor (Germany), Zürcher Sing-Akademie (Switzerland), MDR Rundfunkchor Leipzig (Germany), Kammerchor Stuttgart (Director: Frieder Bernius) (Germany), Ensemble Corund (Switzerland) and Trinity Baroque Ensemble (England). She is also a member of various professional ensembles in Tyrol: Capella Wilthinensis/Innsbruck, Kammerchor Dom St. Jakob/Innsbruck, Chor der Tiroler Kirchenmusiktage Stift Stams.
Brilliant solo activity in the context of concerts, masses and oratorios: such as White foam by W. Mitterer in Treibhaus Innsbruck 2006, Jägerstätter-Oratorium by A. Schönberger in Innsbruck 2007 (TV recording ORF), Weihnachts-Oratorium (BWV 248) by J.S. Bach in Trient 2010, Messiah by George Frideric Handel with the Trigonale in Kärnten 2011, Marienvesper by C. Monteverdi with the Capella Nova Graz 2012 (recorded in Ö1), Membra Jesu nostri by Dietrich Buxtehude (excerpts from the live CD recording in Ö1 broadcast) 2012, Gabriel Fauré's Requiem in Italy 2014, Haydn's Requiem in Innsbruck 2015.
Andrea Oberparleiter has been engaged as a soloist by various Baroque ensembles, such as Ensemble Cordia (Italy, Klingzeug (Austria), and Rosarum Flores, and is in demand as a performer of contemporary music. She is working in co-operation with Tyrolean musicians and composers in the context of church concerts and world premieres (eg Kurt Estermann, Michel König, Franz Baur). |
